Get a test wallet with USDC
You need one wallet to play the customer and, if you have not set one up yet, one Stellar account to be your settlement wallet. Both can be the same wallet app on testnet.1
Switch a wallet to testnet
Use Lobstr or Albedo. Lobstr switches to testnet in its settings; Albedo needs no switch, it picks the network from the payment link. Beans appears on the checkout but cannot pay on testnet, so skip it while testing.
2
Fund the account
Testnet accounts are funded for free by Friendbot. Most wallets offer a button; otherwise paste the public key at laboratory.stellar.org.
3
Add the USDC trustline
In the wallet, add the asset
USDC with issuer GBBD47IF6LWK7P7MDEVSCWR7DPUWV3NY3DTQEVFL4NAT4AQH3ZLLFLA5.4
Get test USDC
Request it from Circle’s faucet, choosing Stellar testnet and pasting your public key.
